Sewing Servant

Description of Ministry
Use your skills to sew special projects, cut blankets for naptime use, mend sheets, or sew pillowcases for our little pillows. Materials provided. You need only supply the needle or sewing machine.

Purpose of Ministry
Being a good steward of your talents helps us to be good stewards of supplies. Many materials can continue to be used provided we had a way to skillfully repair them. Children love to take care of homemade items as well. Some of our hand sewn pillowcases provide the most coveted napping place for sleepy heads. In addition, this hands-on approach to ministry serves God by serving His children and sets a healthy example of ministry for this future generation.

Skills
• Volunteers will want to have basic sewing skills and a machine would be helpful.
• Fabric and thread can or will be provided.
• This ministry opportunity can be completed in your own home.

Involvement Time
Volunteer as much or as little as you like. Since tasks can be completed at home, scheduling is up to you.
