Life Groups

Description of Ministry
As the church grows, it can become more challenging to connect with each other in meaningful friendships. It can be easy for us to come together for worship - yet feel completely alone. No sense of connection. No one knowing your needs or hurt or heartaches or joys.

That's where small groups come in. At Concordia we call our small groups LIFE Groups. The name LIFE sums up the activity you see in Acts chapter 2.

Purpose of Ministry
To connect people in an meaningful, life giving way while providing opportunity for them to grow deeper in their faith relationship with God.

Skills
• A desire to go through life connected with a handful of others.
• An interest in growing deeper in your walk with God.

Involvement Time
Small Group Participant: Weekly or twice a month a small group participant gets together with a handful of others for fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and encouragement for day to day life.

Small Group Host: Weekly or twice a month a small group host opens up their home to a group of friends they’d like to walk through life together with in a more intentional way than merely surface level conversations. This role, over time, gets shared with all group participants.

Small Group Coach: Weekly/Monthly the small group coach shepherds Small Group hosts, while participation in ongoing training.
