Hospital Visitation

Description of Ministry
Visit with Concordia members (and sometimes non-members) in the hospital or rehabilitation center to pray with them and assure them of the love of Jesus in their time of need.

Purpose of Ministry
To bring encouragement, consolation, and the comfort of the Lord to people who are hospitalized.

Skills
• Ability to show compassion and empathy
• Good listener
• Ability to pray and share God's Word of encouragement
• Be interested, patient, and appropriate to the situation

Involvement Time
Typically four times per year, usually on Sunday afternoon.
