Homebound Visitation

Description of Ministry
Visit homebound members in their homes or nursing homes to pray with them, encourage them, deliver bulletins/newsletters, sermon CDs, and devotional materials.

Purpose of Ministry
To provide support, care, and a sense of connectedness to members who are no longer able to attend worship services on the Concordia campus.

Skills
• Ability to show compassion and empathy
• Good listener
• Ability to pray and share God's Word of encouragement
• Be interested, patient, and appropriate to the situation

Involvement Time
Visit one homebound member per month.
