Dinner for Eight(ish)

Description of Ministry
Eight or so people meet for dinner once a month over the span of four months, either in each other’s homes or in a restaurant setting. One individual is designated “the first host.” The first host makes arrangements for the first dinner and provides the main dish. The others in the group bring a salad, vegetable, and/or desert. If your group chooses to eat out, each person pays his/her own way. At the monthly dinner, the group schedules the next dinner for a time and place that is convenient for everyone.

Purpose of Ministry
Dinner for Eight provides an opportunity for anyone interested to gather together with a handful of others in a comfortable setting to share a meal while engaging in casual conversation.

Skills
An interest in food and a desire to form new and deeper friendships.
