Description of Ministry
Provide fun with reading to children enrolled in our Child Care Center and/or Tiny Tots programs. Children love stories and books. Share a story and/or an activity with little ones as you share the love of Jesus through your time and attention.

Purpose of Ministry
Nurture a child's love for reading and encourage good listening skills while sharing Jesus' compassion for the "least of these". Children will observe your example of reading, your love for books, and your heart for ministry that will model all of the above for them. This hands-on approach to ministry serves God by serving His children and sets a healthy example of ministry for this future generation.

Skills
• Volunteers should have a love for children and possess skills for reading and keeping a child's attention.
• General insight regarding child development is helpful.
• Guidance for age-appropriate story selection and activities is given.

Involvement Time
Volunteer as much or as little as you like. Regular readers are appreciated as the children look forward to this special time.
